emily and martin

meet mr. and mrs. avery!  emily and martin are an amazing couple.  you can see their love for eachother clear as day just watching them interact with each other.  emily and martin had a whirlwind engagement – 6 months, start to finish!  their day was perfect, just as they are.  the forecast called for rain but not a drop fell.  it was an early fall day with a little crisp to the air.  surrounded by friends and family, these two danced the night away.  thanks for letting us be a part of your wedding!

emily and martin chose the pavilion at pepper plantation as the background for their wedding and reception.  the open-air farmhouse is positioned on a beautiful lake and features soaring wooden rafters, a gazebo over the water, double fireplaces, and a firepit.  they got married next to the pond with the fountain as a backdrop.  emily’s brother in law officiated the ceremony and kept everyone laughing.  emily’s friends created beautiful flowers for her ceremony featuring fab fall colors.  she used a variety of different glassware to create a rustic, eclectic look.

another unique touch to the wedding day…emily found an old window frame and got a talented friend to paint a tree which became the guest book.  guests left thumbprints to decorate the tree and now emily and martin have a truly one-of-a-kind piece of art created by the people that love them most!

emily was the most laid back bride ever.  she just wanted people to have fun.  she sported her favorite cowboy boots with her beautiful dress – not sure many brides could pull it off, she sure did!  another creative touch?

emily and martin chose ice cream cupcakes  instead of a traditional cake or even cupcakes.  um, yum!  they were a total hit!

the luke cunningham band was the entertainment for the night and kept everyone dancing.  emily and martin also had fresh kettle corn popping all night as a favor.  at the end of the evening, after the cupcakes were eaten, and the toasts were toasted, emily and martin waved farewell to everyone and were off to married bliss!
